I have no children but the it was so unbearable that I gave that up and went for the hysterectomy. I can tell you that the only relief I had was when I was on lupron. It puts you in a chemical menopause and has some nasty side effects but it was the only thing that stopped the pain. I also had the ablation and it gave me about a month or so of relief, which is why I ended up with the hysterectomy. The good news is that once you have your uterus removed, you are cured. The bad news is that you lose a part of your body. I wish you well and much strength through this. I totally understand what you are going through/went through. AB (well, his publisist) sent an autographed cookbook for the silent auction a couple of years ago and I ended up buying the basket for my mom... I even watch iron chef (well, when they're not cooking some bizzarro sea monster) for the narration. I presume they hired him because he never stops talking. Like me! i LOVE alton!!!! my mom got me hooked.
